The terms and conditions here do not affect your statutory rights, but they are a part of your contract with us when you choose to make a booking with Abbeyshrule Bouncing Castles.

Please read carefully.

If you proceed to make a booking with Abbeyshrule Bouncing Castles you are deemed to be in agreement with these terms and conditions.

DISCLAIMER

It is the responsibility of the "Hirer" (Customer) to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury to any persons using our inflatable products and equipment and also make them aware that they use the equipment at their own risk.
Abbeyshrule Bouncing Castles take no responsibility for any injury caused to any person whilst using the equipment.
The Hirer remains responsible for the safe keeping of the until it is collected by Abbeyshrule Bouncing Castles and the Hirer is liable for any damage or loss of our inflatable or equipment while it is in their possession or another venue of the Hirer’s choosing

Below are a list of safety instructions that the Hirer and users of the equipment must follow

Before We get started

ROBOTIC LAWNMOWERS MUST BE SWITCHED OFF BEFORE WE DELIVER.

No washing up liquid or water to be added to the unit under any circumstances or serious injury may occur.

1. An Adult must be available for the delivery and collection of the equipment being hired .

2 .An adult must be responsible for supervising the equipment being hired . The equipment must be supervised at all times while in use.

3. The safety information displayed on the inflatable unit and equipment provided must be adhered to, including maximum user height and number of users restrictions.

4. Ensure that the users on the inflatable are of similar height. Do not under any circumstances mix large users with small users as this is dangerous and can potentially cause serious or life threatening injury. Make sure there is no pushing shoving or rough play among the users.

5. No Shoes, toys ,cups, plates ,sharp objects or animals are permitted on the equipment. It is also recommended that anyone wearing glasses remove them or if they need them at all times to use their sports suitable glasses . Supervise at all times .

6.Play Sand, Party Poppers, Coloured streamers, silly string or any sort of confetti can permanently stain the equipment and should not be used on or near the equipment . A fee will be applied if this occurs.

7.No food or drink , sweets or treats to be allowed on the equipment.

8.No paper or wrappers of any kind to be left on the inflatable. Please check that nothing has been left on the unit upon final use.

9. Please check that no valuables have been left in the unit such as jewellery , mobile phones etc. We will not be held responsible for loss or damage.

10. Under no Circumstances should any users be on the inflatable while it is inflating or deflating.

11.Users are not permitted on the inflatable if they are under the influence of either alcohol or illegal drugs. It is the responsibility of the hirer to supervise this as seriously injury may occur.

12. The equipment must be deflated immediately if wind speed reaches 30km/h (Beaufort Scale 5) and must remain deflated until winds have decreased below this speed.

13. A cleaning charge will be applied if the equipment has been dirtied due to mistreatment.

14. If the equipment is fitted with a step it must not be used for bouncing and playing ,it is to aid the entrance and exit of users.

15. Under no circumstances must the equipment be interfered with or moved.

16. Children must sit and slide feet first (no jumping) on slides Users must not hold hands when sliding with other users. Users must not climb back up the slide

17. Somersaults and gymnastics are not permitted on the equipment.

18. Users must not climb on any walls ,any parts of the equipment off the standard bouncing area or any area outside the inflatable.

19. Water should not be added to the equipment intentionally (unless it’s awater slide) or this is classed as mistreatment. If the inflatable or the equipment becomes wet, please allow to dry before use.

20. In the unlikely event of anyone equipment malfunction, you must not use the equipment and you must contact us immediately . We will swiftly resolve the problem where possible. Refunds will not be given for malfunctioning equipment if the malfunction-is not reported immediately.

21: Safe keeping of the equipment is the responsibility of the hirer from point of delivery, until collection has taken place. The hirer will be liable for any damage or loss to the equipment during this period.

Below is General Booking Information/Terms & Conditions. It is very important that you read and understand this information, as failure to do so may result in you, “the Hirer”, Liable for any damages/extra charges and “the supplier” (us), not be able to carry out the booking. This may result in full payment or additional charges been automatically applied to your card with/without your booking proceeding. Please Read all the information below and if you have any questions, please email us for clarification.

1) We Abbeyshrule Bouncing Castles reserve the right to refuse delivery at all times, for the safety of our staff and/or equipment.

2) Deposits/Payments are non-refundable should there be inadequate notice of cancellation .

3) Outstanding balances must currently be paid cash on delivery .

4) Bookings can be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. This can be done free of charge up to 12pm on the Tuesday before your booking. In this case, we will hold your deposit and you can rebook again anytime up October 14th (subject to availability).

5)Please ensure that the eircode provided is correct

6) Please ensure all contact details provided are correct and you will be available to be contacted regrading delivery/collection.

7) Deliveries are most likely to take place on Thursday/Friday and collections Monday/Tuesday where your booking is for the weekend . Specific delivery days/times are not available but closer to the time should you have a specific request let us know in good time and we will try our best to accommodate unfortunately we cannot guarantee this. You will be notified the evening before delivery of your delivery slot the next day. For delivery/collection to take place we will need access to the area where instillation is required and access to a working power source so the inflatable canbe inflated. We would prefer someone to be present at the point of delivery, but this is not always necessary.

8) In rare circumstances delivery may take place on the first day of your booking. In this case delivery can be up to 12 noon on that morning.


9) For Collections we will need to be able to access the equipment. We will send you a text the day before notifying you of collection the following day please leave available access.

10)We require access to a sufficient power source. We will provide our own extension reels and these must be plugged directly into a power outlet and not another extension reel/double adaptor. In many cases we will require two power outlets (1 per fan - for most obstacle courses 2 fans are required).

11) In all circumstances the access route/ area in which the inflatable is to be installed must have the following-Access pathway must be clear of obstruction (cars, kids toys, wheelie bins etc) and a minimum width of 1.2m (This must not be through a building. For narrower access routes please call or message us details and we will confirm if possible)The installation area is to be of real grass and have sufficient cover not to allow muck/clay to be exposed (i.e., freshly sown lawns). Artificial Grass, or any type of hard surface is not permitted.-Be sufficient in size to allow for the minimum area required (NOT UNIT SIZE) for the unit hired.Be free from any obstacles/ obstructions (Kids toys, Swings, Slides, Trampolines, Tree's/overhanging branches etc.)- Be free from any animal foul. (Where this is not the case, we WILL ask you to remove it, or may refuse delivery and the full hire fee is still liable)- Be within 40m of a power source.- The installation area must not have a slope of more than 5% in any direction.- We reserve the right in install the equipment where we feel is best suited.-

Robotic Lawnmowers must be disabled

prior to delivery until after collection. The hirer is liable for any damages caused by Robotic Lawnmowers.- Pets must be restrained during delivery/collection process. We cannot accept any responsibility for loose pets during the delivery/Collection process.


12) Whilst our staff are highly professional and will always take the upmost care, we cannot be held liable for any damage caused to property during the delivery/collection.

13) In the unlikely event that the product ordered is no longer available for hire.We reserve the right to be able to replace the product ordered with a similar product


14) By booking an inflatable for hire from Abbeyshrule Bouncing Castles you are accepting and agreeing to these Terms & Conditions .

Whilst every effort will be made by Abbeyshrule Bouncing Castles to operate under the information provided above, we cannot be held liable for any loss occurring to the Hirer from situations outside of our control.
